In 1978, the young, and mostly unknown, Robin Williams played the character Mork on the television comedy Mork & Mindy.
This photo was taken during the filming of an early episode on location in Boulder, Colorado.
Robin Williams went on to become an acclaimed stand-up comedian and a beloved, award-winning film actor. On James Lipton's "Inside the Actors Studio," he had the students yell out topics for him to improvise, and his responses came back faster than the speed of light.
Here, he prepares himself for an upcoming take, to be performed on roller skates, no less.
